Innisfil's Official Plan Review

We're undertaking a review of our Official Plan, a key document that guides the way our town grows and shapes the spaces we live, work, and play. It’s an exciting time for our community, and your input and involvement are vital as we plan for how to manage growth, meet our housing needs, and deliver essential services—today and into the future.

Draft Official Plan and Land Use Schedules

Draft 1 of the Official Plan with Schedules dated December 2025 is available for viewing.

Community Engagement

Community members are invited to share their input on the draft Official Plan and related background studies through two community engagement events:

• Drop-in Open House on January 6, 2026 at Innisfil Town Hall from 5 to 7 pm.
• Statutory Public Meeting on January 21, 2026 at Innisfil Town Hall, starting at 6:30 pm. You can submit your comments or register to speak, and watch the meeting in person or livestream it on the Town's YouTube channel.

Feedback collected during both events will be used to refine the draft plan further before it's brought to Innisfil Council for final consideration and adoption at a future meeting.
