Make Your Mark on Innisfil Beach Park

New and improved amenities are coming to Innisfil Beach Park! While Phase 1 construction continues, the following opened as of July 1:

• Improved Beaches 3–5 (Central Beach and North Beach)
• New washroom pavilion, including outdoor showers
• Playground, including the new junior play equipment

Some minor work will continue in the reopened areas as Phase 1 progresses. Visitors may see crews completing final landscaping and installing park furniture throughout the summer. Any remaining work in open areas is expected to cause minimal disruption to park users.

Timeline: Remaining Phase 1 park improvements

• Two beach volleyball courts: Early July 2026
• Four tennis courts: September 2026
• Six new pickleball courts: September 2026
• Beach 2 (South Beach): Mid-October 2026
• New park exit to 25th Sideroad: Mid-October 2026

If any part of this schedule changes, this page will be updated, and the information will be shared through future project updates. We recommend subscribing to this page to stay up to date on project milestones.

Construction began in May 2025 and is scheduled for completion in October 2026.

Visitors are asked to respect all construction fencing and closures for their safety.

Timeline of future improvements

Park improvements will be done in three phases. Each phase will start with a proposed design stage and be followed by a construction stage. The schedule is as follows:

• Phase 2: Proposed design (2028-2029) and construction (2029-2030)
• Phase 3: Proposed design (2033-2034) and construction (2035-2036)

These improvements were guided by our Innisfil Beach Park Master Plan, adopted by Council on May 24, 2023. From now until 2036, we will be making improvements to this beloved community space to modernize aging amenities, ease traffic congestion, and introduce exciting new features in underused areas of the park.
