Consultation has concluded

The Town is taking a closer look at our existing By-law as it pertains to residents being allowed to raise chickens. Currently, Innisfil residents are not allowed to own chickens within their residential properties in settlement areas. However, we recognize that with a predominantly rural community like ours, this may need to be changed. Before we make a recommendation to Council on this matter, we want to hear how residents feel about it first.

In addition, we're also looking into local food sourcing such as beekeeping, green roofs, and more. But first, we want to get a better understanding of what kind of opportunities you would like to be provided and permitted.

Take our survey below to share your thoughts with us today! Please be aware that the deadline for feedback is November 30.
