    Riding Country Roads

by R. Murrey Haist, about 1 year ago

I love them all, yet if I were made to choose the favourite time of the year. It is for me, our fall season in this, our part of the world. It  strangely slows my pace, and causes me to spend much more time reflecting, not just on the beauty that surrounds, but the calling to an end of another beauty that has just past. And the strongly contrasting beauty yet to come.

    7th Line Sunrise

by cjohnson91, about 1 year ago

This shot was captured at the 7th line beach on a crisp, fall morning.  Couldn't have asked for a more serene, colourful morning (and the birds!).  Sometimes waking up early is totally worth it!

A cold day on the lake

by Juicepig, about 1 year ago

Saw a sundog, and chased it down to the beach for a more wide open view - ran a few hundred meters into the lake from the beach to take this picture - only then did i realize that I was not really equipped to deal with the fridgid cold that comes with a view like this. Back to the fire I go!
