Trips towards Barrie South GO

Generally it's a 15-20 minute direct ride towards Barrie South GO to catch a connecting Southbound train to Toronto Union Station. The application doesn't prioritize the 3 passenger pickups to be all headed towards Barrie South GO.

I've been in many close calls where for example 2 of the 3 passengers are headed towards Barrie South GO, but the application will pickup a 3rd rider that's going somewhere that isn't Barrie South. This is inefficient routing, and we can see how much the town pays Uber (15-20 dollar subsidy) for potentially a service that isn't practical.

Perhaps the solution is to reserve a ride the night prior. Or switch to dedicated On-Demand Transit for GO Station routes specifically?

Useful when my car was in the shop

When my car was in the shop, I used Innisfil Transit to go from work (a 20 minute drive from home) to the library, which was a 15 minute walk from home.The $4 charge made it quite economical the few times I used it.The Uber service was good, except the one time of sharing the back seat with a man I felt uncomfortable beside.Using Innisfil transit to get from the library to my workplace did not seem feasible.In addition, although I had prepaid for the ride, Uber seems to insist that I have my credit card info on my phone…
