We want Innisfil residents to not only feel safe getting around town, but also enjoy doing so. That's why we're working to create more trails and transit networks that promote active transportation - a way for people of all ages to walk, bike, and generally get around town without a vehicle.
Implementing projects that are pedestrian friendly will encourage residents just like you to get outside and get active. We want to curb declining physical activity rates in Simcoe County and help people to choose active ways to get from point A to point B. Think of it as a win-win, healthy for both you and for the environment.

We encourage you to click the subscribe button on this page to receive project updates. When new work happens and opportunities to leave feedback become available - you'll be the first to know.

As part of the Land and Lake Plan, the Town updated its 2016 Trails Master Plan, providing Town Staff, Council, developers, and community partners with a guiding document to advance our parks and trail network over the next 30 years. The Master Plan focuses on off-road linkages, such as multi-use trails, pathways, and sidewalks in key areas.
Based on the recommendations, new trails sections are being added through an annual Trails Implementation Program.
