We’re making waves at Innisfil Beach Park – waves of change that is! We love our Innisfil Beach Park and we know that there are always ways to make things run more smoothly, make the park safer and make it a space that everyone can enjoy. We have some ideas and some pilot projects for the 2019 season and we want you to let us know what you think!
The Innisfil Beach Park Ad-Hoc Committee was established in March, 2019 with the main goal of reviewing and working to address current issues surrounding the park. Committee members have come together to advise and make recommendations to Council on matters like parking, overflowing garbage, smoking, and public safety. The Committee is currently searching for solutions that will enhance the overall user experience at the park as soon as possible. The Committee has made a number of recommendations to Council and now Town Staff is working to implement these recommendations.
How can I get involved? Members of the public are welcome to attend the meetings and observe the committee as they work to address various issues surrounding the park. If you wish to bring a certain topic to light, please complete a formal delegation request and submit it to clerks at clerksoffice@innisfil.ca by Friday at 12:00pm prior to the meeting. Click here to access the delegation form.
