Innisfil Beach Park: Phase 1 Construction Progress
Thanks for staying engaged as the Innisfil Beach Park project continues to take shape!
This transformation has been years in the making, and it's exciting to see steady progress on Phase 1 construction.
Construction status
With beach season in the rearview, we're intensifying construction across the park to do as much as we can before the start of winter. Construction is active in Zones 1, 2, 3, and 5, and fencing has been installed around the work areas. For everyone's safety, Beaches 3-6 and the tennis courts are now closed.
Please note that access from Roberts Road and Florence Road is restricted during construction. Signage has been placed to guide nearby residents to alternative routes.
This schedule was prepared to ensure beach access remained open during the busiest summer months, while keeping the project on track so you can benefit from improved park amenities when the season returns next year.
What's still open
- Boat launch area
- Playground
- Beaches 1 and 2
- Baseball diamonds
- Trails through open areas
What to expect
Coming in 2026, we're excited to reopen these improved spaces to the public with:
- Expanded beach areas
- New park exit, intersecting 25th Sideroad
- New washroom pavilion
- New trails
- New tennis and pickleball courts
- Tree plantings
- And more!
We know construction isn't convenient, but just like any good makeover, the results will be worth it!
