We want to create a shared vision for the park. Finish the sentence above and let us know what you would like to see Innisfil Beach Park having in the future!

In 20 years my Innisfil Beach Park will...

This is going to sound radical, but, why does Innisfil Beach Park need a beach at all?

My understanding is that the current "beaches" are not a natural feature of the lake, but must be maintained by the addition of sand. Given that these sandy areas are small and not generally accessible to residents, as well as being the main draw for visitors, why not just get rid of them and landscape those areas?

The park would be more visually pleasant with more landscaped areas (the sand just looks dull, dirty, and unappealing), and it would eliminate the overcrowding and all the problems (parking, littering, illegal fires, etc.) that come with overcrowding. It would return the park to what it was originally intended to be, a local use park for the community.

How about *no* beach?
