TOWN OF INNISFIL PARTNERS WITH LOCAL FOOD DELIVERY COMPANY FOR FREE RESTAURANT DELIVERIES

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil has partnered with local food delivery service What’s For Dinner Today, to waive their food delivery fee for Innisfil residents until March 31.

As many restaurants have taken responsible action and closed their doors to dine-in services during the COVID-19 pandemic, a large number remain open for takeout and delivery.

Partnering with What’s For Dinner Today will help our community continue to support local businesses while practicing safe social distancing to flatten the curve of COVID-19.

The What’s For Dinner Today app is easy to use and allows residents to order from over 20 local restaurants. Download the app from Google Play or the App Store, or access the service fromwww.wfdt.ca. Free delivery will be automatically activated once an order is completed.

“We’re always open to trying to new ideas and partnerships,” said Innisfil Mayor Lynn Dollin. “We need to be adaptive and act fast in these challenging times to support our local businesses and help our residents.”

Innisfil restaurants can sign up for the service by calling 705-290-0777 or emailing contact@wfdt.ca.

The Town of Innisfil is closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak and the impact it is having on the local business community. A new COVID-19 Business Resources & Support page includes financial support info, tips on working remotely, and more. The website will be updated on an ongoing basis as new information and programs become available.
